While Message previews are a great way to see if someone has just texted you something important, they are also a privacy issue because anyone taking a look at your phone will also be able to see the Message Previews. If this bothers you, you can hide message preview on iPhone, for all Apps or for specific Apps only.
Hide Message Preview on iPhone or iPad
By default, your iPhone or iPad will display a notification along with a message preview.
As mentioned earlier, this is a convenient feature which allows you to see the contents of a message without opening it. However, this convenience can also end up being a privacy issue, in case someone starts taking interest in monitoring the Lock Screen of your iPhone.
To solve this problem, you can either Hide Message Previews for all Apps on your iPhone, Hide Message Preview for specific apps or totally Hide Notifications from the Lock Screen of your iPhone.
You will find below the steps for all the three options and you can make use of any option that suits you better.
