While the mobile version of Facebook is optimized for mobile devices, it lacks some of the functionality and features as available in its Desktop version. You will find below the steps to Access Desktop version of Facebook on Android phone or Tablet.

By default, Android Phones and Tablets provide access only to the mobile version of Facebook. Even if you try to visit Facebook using the web browser on your Android phone, you will be immediately redirected to the mobile version of Facebook.

Since, the mobile version of Facebook does not provide all the features, you are more than likely to come across the need to access desktop version of Facebook on your Android device.

Hence, we are providing below 3 different ways to Access the Full Desktop version of Facebook on Android Phone or Tablet.

1. Access Desktop Version of Facebook Using Chrome Browser

Follow the steps below to access desktop version of Facebook on Chrome browser using the following steps.

1. Open Chrome Browser on your Android Phone or Tablet.

2. Tap on 3-dots Menu icon located at the top right corner and select Desktop Site option in the drop-down menu.

3. Now, visit Facebook.com and you will be landing on the desktop version of Facebook

4. Sign-in to your Facebook Account.

As you will notice, the desktop version of Facebook will appear small and hard to read on your mobile device. Hence, make sure that you switch to Landscape mode, in order to get a better view of the website.

2. Another Way to Access Desktop Version of Facebook Using Chrome Browser

You can request Chrome browser to render the desktop version of Facebook, even after you have already landed on the mobile version of Facebook.

1. Visit Facebook.com using Chrome browser and you will be redirected to the mobile version of Facebook.

2. Now, tap on 3-dots Chrome Menu icon and select Desktop Site option in the drop-down menu.

3. Chrome browser will now take you to the Desktop version of Facebook.

4. Login to your Facebook Account.

3. Type URL to Access Desktop Version of Facebook on Android Phone

This method may or may not work, depending on the version of Facebook that you are using on your Android Phone.

1. Open the Facebook App on your Android Phone and login to your Facebook Account.

2. Open Chrome browser, type https://www.facebook.com/login.php in the search bar and tap on the Enter key.

3. Now, you should be on the Desktop version of Facebook.

As mentioned above, this method may not work and Facebook may still redirect you to the mobile version (m.facebook.com)
