In case you are having a hard time unlocking your Android device, then you can follow the steps below to make password visible on Android Phone or Tablet.

As you can imagine, making the password visible on Android Phone can be helpful, as it allows you to see whether or not you are entering the correct Password to unlock your device.

1. From the Home Screen of your Android Phone or Tablet, tap on Settings.

2. On the settings screen, tap on Lock Screen & Security Option (See image below)

Note: On some Android phones Lock Screen & Security option, may appear as just Security.

3. On the next screen, toggle ON the option for Make Passwords Visible (See image below)

If you cannot see this option, tap on Other Security Settings or Advanced

On the Other Security screen, toggle ON the option for Make Passwords Visible.

From now on, you will be able to see the Password on your Android phone as you are typing it. The password will be visible for a short while, before disappearing.

Make Password Invisible on Android Phone

Making the Password Visible on Android Phone is helpful for those who tend to forget passwords or make mistakes while typing. However, this convenience comes with a security risk.

Even though the password is visible only for a short time, anyone standing beside you will be in a position to see or guess your Password by taking a look at the screen of your Android Phone as you are trying to unlock your Android Phone.

Follow the steps below to make Password Invisible on Android Phone or Tablet.

1. Open Settings on your Android Phone or Tablet.

2. On the Settings screen, tap on Lock Screen & Security, which may appear as “Security” on some phones

3. On the Security screen, toggle off the option to make Passwords Visible (See image below)

In case you do not see Make Passwords Visible option, tap on Other security settings or Advanced (See image below).

On the next screen, toggle off the option for Make Passwords Visible (See image below).

From now on, the password will be completely invisible as you type the Password in order unlock your Android Phone.
