If you are noticing a bunch of events in your Calendar that you did not add, it is most likely that these events are automatically being added to the Calendar by Microsoft Outlook.
The reason for this is due to the default tendency of Microsoft Outlook to scan your Email messages and Add Events to Calendar, based on the content of your sent and received Email messages.
For example, when you receive an invitation by email, receive notice of package delivery, get confirmation of flight ticket booking or hotel reservation, Outlook automatically adds these events to your Calendar.
Prevent Outlook from Adding Calendar Events
While allowing Microsoft Outlook to automatically add Calendar events based on the content of your Email messages can be useful, it can also end up cluttering your Calendar with unwanted events that you do not want to see on the Calendar.
Luckily, you can prevent both Outlook Mail and Microsoft Outlook from adding Calendar Events by disabling this feature in your Outlook Email Account.
1. Stop Outlook Mail from Adding Calendar Events
If you are using Outlook Mail, you can follow the steps below to prevent Outlook from adding Calendar events.
1. Sign in to your Outlook Email Account.
2. Click on Settings icon located at top-right corner and select View all Outlook settings option in the drop-down menu.

3. On the next screen, click on Calendar > Events from email in the left pane. In the right-pane, uncheck Automatically add events to my calendar from email option.

4. Click on the Save button to save these changes to your Email Account.
The other option is to use the Mail scanning feature in such a way that only selected events are added to the Calendar. This can be achieved by checking only the type of events that you want to appear on the Calendar.

For example, you can uncheck Flights, Hotel reservations, Car rentals, Service Appointments and other items, in order to prevent these type of events from being added to the Calendar.
Note: Make sure you repeat the above steps for other Outlook Email Accounts that you have.
