Fix: Android Not Receiving Text Messages From iPhone

By: Sam Patwegar | Updated: August 28, 2025

The problem of an Android Phone not receiving text Messages from iPhone is usually noticed by those who have recently switched from iPhone to Android phone and also those who have recently acquired a New Phone Number.

In both cases, the most likely reason for Android Phone not receiving messages from iPhone is due to the Android phone number still being registered with Apple, which makes iPhone send the message as an iMessage.

Since, an Android phone cannot receive iMessages, the Message ends up getting stuck on Apple servers and fails to reach your Android Phone.
