Steps to Disable Lock Screen Widgets on iPhone
Follow the steps below to disable All Lock Screen Widgets on your iPhone
1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. On the Settings screen, scroll down and tap on Touch ID & Passcode.
3. You will be prompted to enter your Lock screen Passcode, in order to make changes to Touch ID & Passcode screen.
4. On the Touch ID & Passcode Screen, scroll down to “Allow Access When Locked” section and disable the option for Today View and Notifications View (See image below).
After this setting, you will no longer see Widgets on the Lock Screen of your iPhone (when it is Locked).
Disable Individual Lock Screen Widgets on iPhone
Follow the steps below, in case you are looking to disable a specific Lock Screen Widget or want to disable certain Individual Lock Screen Widgets on your iPhone
1. Swipe Right from left side of your iPhone’s screen to access the Widgets Screen. You can do this both from the Lock Screen or from the Home Screen on your iPhone.
2. Next, scroll down and tap on the Edit button (See image below).
3. You will be prompted to enter your Lock Screen Passcode in order to Access the Widgets screen.
4. On the Widgets screen, tap on the little Red Button located next to the widget that you want to remove from Lock Screen on your iPhone (See image below).
5. Next, tap on the Remove button and then tap on Done from the upper right corner of your screen.
The selected Widget will no longer appear on the Lock Screen of your iPhone
Enable Individual Lock Screen Widgets on iPhone
The Lock Screen Widgets that you had disabled on your iPhone will be available in “Add More Widgets” section and you can easily re-enable them back on the Lock Screen of your iPhone by following the steps below.
1. Swipe Right from the left side of your iPhone’s screen to access the Widgets Screen. You can do this both from Lock Screen or from Home Screen on your iPhone.
2. Next, scroll down and tap on the Edit option.
3. You will be prompted to enter your Lock Screen Passcode in order to access the Widgets screen on your iPhone.
4. On the Widgets screen, scroll down to “Add More Widgets” section and then tap on the green Plus Button located next to the Widget that you want to Enable on the Lock Screen of your iPhone.
5. Next, tap on Done from the upper right corner of your screen (See image above)
The selected Widget will now start appearing on the Lock Screen of your iPhone.
