If your Android Phone is coming up with “Mobile Network Not Available” error message, you can find below the steps to fix this problem.

As indicated by the wordings, your Android device is trying to inform you that a Mobile Network is Not Available at your current location.

There could be various reasons for this error message, ranging from your location being outside the range of service providers network to network connectivity issues.

In most cases, this problem can be easily fixed using troubleshhoting steps as provided below.

1. Restart the Phone

The problem could simply be due to a stuck program or process interferring with network connectivity. In most cases, this can be fixed by Restarting the device.

Simply, switch OFF your Android Phone > After 30 seconds, Restart the Phone and see if it is still coming up with the error message.

2. Enable/Disable Flight Mode

Enabling and Disabling Flight Mode or Airplane Mode helps in fixing connectivity issues by refreshing WiFi, Cellular and Bluetooth Networks.

Go to Settings > Aeroplane Mode > Enable Aeroplane mode by moving the toggle to ON position.

Wait for 60 seconds > Disable Aeroplane Mode and see if WhatsApp is now working on your Android Phone.

3. Enable Data Roaming

Your phone can come up with “Mobile Network Not Available” Message, if you are outside the range of your Service Providers network.

If this is the case, you need to enable Data Roaming option on your device. However, you need to be aware that Data Roaming Charges can be very expensive.

Open Settings > tap on Mobile Networks > on the next screen, move the toggle next to Data Roaming to ON position.

4. Automatically Connect to Mobile Network

This solution has worked for a number of users experiencing “Mobile Network Not Available” Error Message on Samsung Android Phone.

Open the Settings > go to Mobile Networks > Network operators > On the next screen, tap on Select Automatically option to make your Android Phone Automatically select your preferred network.

In case this does not work, you will have to try out other methods as listed below.

4. Update Firmware

It is possible that the manufacturer of your Android Phone has released a Firmware update and your device is not upto date with the latest version of firmware.

Open Settings > go to About device > Software Update > On the next screen, tap on Update Now option.

Patiently wait for your device to check for Software Updates and tap on the Install option (in case Updates are available).

5. Remove SIM Card

The problem of “Mobile Network Not Available” Error Message on Android Phone might be due to the SIM Card not being inserted properly.

Switch OFF your Android phone and remove the SIM Card.

After 30 seconds, insert the SIM Card back into your Android Phone and Switch ON your Android Phone.

This method has also been reported by users as being quite useful in fixing Mobile Network Not Available Error on their Android Phones.

6. Reset Network Settings

Note down the Password for your WiFi Network and follow the steps below to Reset Network Settings on Android Phone.

Go to Settings > About Phone > Reset > Reset Network Settings > on the next screen, tap on Reset Settings to confirm.

Once the Reset process is completed, go to Settings > Connections > select your WiFi Network > enter WiFi Network Password to rejoin WiFi Network.
