Smartphone projector is a low cost device that can turn your smartphone into a projector. Made by Luckies of London, the smartphone projector is made out of cardboard material with a magnifying glass (10x) at the front and a grip pad on the back to securely hold a smartphone.
You can use the smartphone projector to show videos and pictures of your holidays to your friends, instead of having people cramped at a tiny screen, you can beam pictures and videos on a wall so that everyone can see them at the same time.
The picture quality is fairly good if you have a really bright phone. You don’t need a stand because the projector has one built in for your phone. Also, the device is not expensive – available for $28 – $35, depending on sales and discount.
The picture quality can get really dim if you do not have a bright smartphone. The brightness of the phone must be turned to 100% in order to get a good picture quality, this can drain your phone’s battery.
The projector also makes it harder to adjust sound, rewind, forward, stop and resume videos.
The smartphone projector is easy to set up and use, as you can see in the video below.
You can also try making a similar projector yourself, you will be needing a cardboard box, magnifying glass and a duct tape => How to turn your smartphone into a projector
