How to Add Attachments to Email on iPhone And iPad

By: Sam Patwegar | Updated: February 17, 2025

As you may agree, adding attachments to an Email being sent from iPhone or iPad is not as convenient as adding files, documents and other attachments to Email Messages on a computer.

The main reason for this is due to the required attachments (documents, drawings, files) being readily available on the local storage of the computer.

However, adding attachments to Email Messages on iPhone can be made equally easy, if the required attachments are made available on iCloud or on the local storage of your iPhone.
