How to Request Desktop Website On iPhone and iPad

By: Sam Patwegar | Updated: May 28, 2025

If you are looking for a way to access the desktop version of a website on your iPhone, it is likely that a particular feature that you trying to use or access is not available on the mobile version of the website.

This is a fairly common situation faced by mobile users, due to websites having reduced or limited features in their mobile versions and full features on the desktop version.

The reason for this is to make the websites load faser on mobile devices, which are usually connected to slower mobile networks and have limited processing power.

In comparison, Laptop and Desktop computers are connected to faster Wi-Fi networks and equipped with more processing power, RAM and storage, compared to mobile devices.
