In case you are not aware, WhatsApp provides the option to type and send Messages, even if your device is not connected to the internet or gets disconnected during a Chat.
This practically allows you to send offline messages to any of your Contacts and continue typing the Message and hit the send button, if your device gets disconnected from the internet during a Chat.
Send WhatsApp Message Without Internet
The feature in WhatsApp that allows you to send messages without internet connection is known as “Offline Messages” and it basically works by saving your offline messages and queing them up for delivery.
For example, if the internet connection gets disrupted during a WhatsApp Chat, anything that you type gets automatically saved to your device and WhatsApp takes over the responsibility of making sure that the message is sent out from your device.
Similarly, you can type a message to any of your Contacts in offline mode and expect WhatsApp to save your Message and send it to your Contact, as soon as your device gets connected to the internet.
Summary of Offline Messages Feature in WhatsApp
The “Offline Messages” feature in WhatsApp can be useful in the following cases.
1. Internet Gets Disconnected During Chat: Instead of abruptly ending the Chat, you can continue typing and complete the Message and inform your Contact about problems with internet connectivity in your area.
2. No Internet Connection: If you are passing through a place with no cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, you will still be able to type and send a Message to any of your Contacts and expect WhatsApp to deliver the message.
As mentioned above, the message that you type during a disconnected Chat and any offline Message that you send to any of your Contacts will be automatically delivered, as soon as your device gets connected to internet.
