How to Make Chrome As Default Browser on iPhone

By: Sam Patwegar | September 22, 2024

If you have downloaded the Google Chrome App on your iPhone, you can either use it as an alternate web browser or make Google Chrome as the default web browser on your iPhone.

When you designate Google Chrome as the default browser on iPhone, you will find all the links in Messages, Emails and other Apps opening in Google Chrome, instead of opening in Apple Safari browser.

In comparison, when Google Chrome is not designated as the default browser, its role will only be limited to functioning as an alternate or backup web browser on your iPhone, performing web searches only when it is requested to.
