If you are looking for the IP Address of a printer, it is likely that you want to manually add the Printer to your computer using its static IP Address.
In general, adding a printer using IP Address is required to add network printers at an office, school, college or place of work; which require a direct and reliable connection compared to wireless printers, which are prone to printing errors and going offline.
If you are trying to add a USB or Wi-Fi printer to computer, you can refer to this guide: How to Add Wireless & USB Printer to Windows Computer.
Find Printer IP Address in Windows 11/10
Perhaps the easiest way to find the IP Address of a printer is by asking the printer to print a self-test page; which contains all the information about the printer, including its IP Address.
If the printer is unable to print a self-test page or if you want to re-confirm the IP Address, you can use any of the following methods to find or confirm the IP Address of the printer.
1. Find Printer IP Address by Printing Configuration Sheet
Most wireless printers list IP Address on the configuration page, which can be printed by using a procedure as described in the user manual of the printer; usually under “Maintenance” or “Troubleshooting” section of the user guide.
For example, printers with buttons (No Screen); may require you to press & hold the Cancel (X), Power or Feed button for a few seconds or use a button combination (Information + Down Arrow) to print the Test or the configurations page.
In the case of printers with Touch & LCD Screens, you may be required to use the Settings menu to print the configurations page (Settings > Print Reports > Network Configuration Page).
2. Find Printer IP Address Using Command Prompt
If your printer is not going through any connectivity issues, you can find its IP Address by using the “netstat” command.
1. Right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin).
2. On the Command Prompt screen, type netstat -r and press the Enter key.

Once the command is executed, you will find the IP Address of all network connections listed on the Command Prompt screen, including the IP Address of the printer.
Note: As mentioned above, this method won’t work if the printer is going through network or connectivity issues.
3. Find Printer IP Address Using Settings
